About Me

I love improv, creative people and building weird and relatable worlds on stage. I began improv in Seattle in 2013 and then moved to Philadelphia, where I continued to train and perform. After being cast on a couple of house teams (shout out to Jillroy and In Space), I became an improv instructor. I have been fortunate to work with so many kind and hilarious students. I have taught at all levels including children, teens, adults, and international students. I have also trained at The Second City in Chicago, under Susan Messing and Rachael Mason (both of whom are bad ass instructors). In addition to improv, I have performed on sketch teams, acted in music videos, other productions, and work as a consultant using core elements of improv to develop team building.

Other fun things:

  • Creator and host of No Diggity, an improv trivia show inspired by old school hip hop and R&B.
  • Sketch writing and supporting other comedians and their projects. I always have a wig and a top hat ready to go!
  • Being a part of the podcast team at Crossroads Comedy Theater.
  • A part of NYTEShift, an all POC comedy troupe based in Philly. We write, play, crack jokes and can turn any one word suggestion into a song.

Other personal things:

  • Grew up travelling a lot - born in South Carolina, lived in Cuba, went to middle and high school in Hawai'i, graduated from college in Florida and spent over a decade in Seattle. Now I call Philly home, so much so, that I wanna fight anyone who calls Wawa, "just a gas station." Girl, what?!
  • Not only do I dance like an auntie, I am an auntie IRL. Absolutely love my niece!
  • One day I want to own a beach house, have a pet pig and meet Maya Rudolph.
